Get more from your RV door!

Lets the daylight in, provides a clear view outdoors while you control your indoor air temperature.

How Clear View works

Clear View lets you open your RV outer door and enjoy the view through your screen door, while you control your inside air temperature.

Read what Fred says

Do you have an RV door that looks like this? I'm going to show you how to get a lot more from your RV door.

The door has a small window in it and it's heavily tinted. It doesn't let a lot of daylight in, and when you're sitting inside you can't see out very much.

Check this out. We have a clear plastic cover on our screen door, which lets us keep the outer door open when the weather's a little bit too cold or the weather's too hot. We can control the inside air temperature because the door is covered. We can still get to open the outer door by simply sliding that panel in your screen door.

But all of this natural light floods into the RV and makes it much more pleasant and brighter, and when I'm sitting inside I can see out at the beautiful view where we're camping. This has been a game changer for our RV life. And it will be for yours too.

Why Clear View

Sunset seen from inside the RV through the screen door with Clear View on it

Crystal-clear view

Watch the kids, the dog, or the campfire from inside.

Natural light all day!

Sunlight comes through the whole door instead of a small, heavily tinted window. Your RV interior feels much bigger and brighter.

All season, all weather

Control of your indoor air temperature, whatever the weather is doing outside.

Rosane pulls the Clear View panel off the screen door of the RV

Goes on and off in seconds

Pull it off when the weather is perfect, put it back on when it's not.

Built to travel

Doors operate normally. Option to remove the top or bottom panel separately.

Easy installation, no tools

Read the entire instructions and review the installation video before starting. The full step-by-step page, with the video, is at innovativervsolutions.com/instructions. That is where the QR code in the box takes you.

  1. Clean the frame

Clean the door frame thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.

  2. Lay the panels flat

Lay the two Clear View panels on a clean, flat surface and smooth out any wrinkles in the edge binding for a better fit.

  3. Start with the bottom panel

Remove the Velcro strip with the backing tape from the Clear View panel. This is the part that attaches to the door frame.

  4. Peel and press, a little at a time

Peel off the backing tape a little at a time, then align and press the Velcro firmly onto the outer flat edges of the door frame.

  5. Work section by section

Continue section by section until the Velcro is completely attached to the frame.

  6. Attach the panels

Press the bottom Clear View panel onto the Velcro, then repeat steps 3 to 6 for the top panel.

Important: do not remove all the backing tape at once, and do not try to install Clear View directly onto the door. Working section by section, piece by piece, keeps the installation straight, smooth, and wrinkle-free.

What the video shows

There is no talking in this video. A song plays in the background.

Rosane takes the Clear View storage bag out of the shipping box and holds up the cover.

She cleans the screen door frame with rubbing alcohol and a cloth.

She peels the backing off a Velcro strip a little at a time and presses the strip onto the outer edge of the frame, section by section.

She presses the bottom panel onto the Velcro, then attaches the top panel. The video ends on the finished door with the words "Enjoy your C/V".

About us

Made by people who live the RV life!

We're Fred and Rosane, full time RVers. We wanted to stay comfortable inside our RV in all weather conditions, but still wanted to be able to look outside and let the daylight in. Our tiny, darkly tinted windows in the outer door just didn't cut it!

We wanted it all, the view out and natural light inside, without giving up our comfort, so we invented Clear View. We've used Clear View on both our RV doors for over a year and love it. Enjoy!
